Prawns Curry

I've always noticed that you can never go wrong with cooking prawns. The meaty flesh is so tasty whatever you do with it. This is another successful experiment from my kitchen.

Prawns: 750 gms (cleaned and deveined)
Onions: 2 diced
Tomato: 1 chopped
Fresh Red chillies or Green Chillies: 4 slit (adjust to your tolerance level)
Curd: 1 tbsp
Coriander leaved: 2 tbsp
Salt: as required
Sugar: 1/2 tsp
Oil: 2 tbsp

To Grind:
Cleaned Prawns: 6
Chilly powder: 1 tsp
Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
Garam Masala: 1 tsp
Garlic : 6 cloves
Ginfer: 2 inch piece

Heat oil in a kadai and saute the onions till slightly brown.
Add the ground paste and when the oil separates, add the tomatoes.
Saute till tomatoes turn limp and then add the prawns, salt, green chillies and a cup of water.
Let it cook on medium flame till done and then add the curd and coriander leaves.
Let it boil for a minute more and then add the sugar and turn off the stove.
Serve hot with rice or rotis.
