Frittatas on stove top (with left over spinach thoran :) )


Eggs: 4
Milk: 3 tbsp
Cheera Thoran : 3 tbsp (or more if u want)
Salt and Pepper: as needed.
Oil: 2 tsp
Beat the eggs with the milk, salt and pepper.
In a non stick pan, Pour 2 tsp oil and swirl the pan.
Throw in the spinach thoran.
Now pour the beaten egg evenly over the spinach and swirl the pan.
Reduce heat to low
 After 6 minutes, open the lid and with a spatula, lift edge of frittata  and tilt the pan to allow the egg mix to flow underneath all around the pan.
 Cover and continue cooking  until set.
Cut into wedges and serve.

Apple Cake

Apples: 3, peeled cored and chopped finely
Butter: 1 cup or 200 grams melted
Sugar: 1 3/4 cups
Eggs: 3
All Purpose Flour: 2 cups
Baking Powder: 1 1/4 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
All Spice: 1 tsp

Grease and flour a baking dish.
Preheat oven 180C
In a bowl, beat the sugar, butter and eggs till well combined.
Sift the four, baking powder, salt and all spice and add to the sugar mix.
beat again till everything is blended.
Fold in the apples.
Bake for 45 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Serve warm or at room temperature.

Apple Cobbler

This is an easy to make, delicious treat!!!!

Apples: 4-5 (peeled,cored sliced)
Vanilla: 1+1 tsp. vanilla 
Sugar: 1 + ½ cup
Cinnamon: ½ tsp
Butter: 2/3 cup, melted and cooled
Egg: 1 
Flour:1 cup 
Baking Powder:¼ tsp
Salt: 1/4 tsp

Preheat the oven to 180C. 
Butter the bottom of a 9x9 baking dish.
Keep the apple slices on this dish till it is half full
Sprinkle the apples with 1 tsp of vanilla, ½ cup of the sugar and ½ tsp. of cinnamon 

Combine the melted butter, 1 egg, and the remaining 1 tsp. of vanilla.
 Add the remaining 1 cup sugar, the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix together.
  Pour the batter evenly over the apple slices.
Bake for one hour at 180C. Serve warm or at room temperature.
