Potato Peas Poori(Aloo Mutter Poori)

This is a semi healthy breakfast which is absolutely delicious and a hit with kids. My kiddos don't even need a side dish to go with this while me and my DH dips it in pickle and relish each and every bite....hmmmm!!!!

Wheat Flour: 2 cups
Oil for deep frying

For the aloo mutter mix:

Potatoes: 2 medium pressure cooked and mashed
Green Peas: 1/2 cup
Onion: 1 small diced
Ginger: 1/2 inch juliennes
Green chilly: 2 chopped fine
Cumin: 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala: 3/4 tsp
Salt: as required

Heat oil in a kadai and splutter the cumin.
Now add the onion, green chillies and ginger and saute till onion is wilted
Add the green peas, garam masala, salt and saute till green peas is cooked.
Now mix in the mashed potatoes and coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
Allow it to cool

Now, take the wheat flour and make the poori dough with the aloo mutter mix.
Add water only if it is absolutely necessary.
Make small balls and roll out into approximately 3 inch rounds
(you might not get perfect rounds coz of the potato and peas mix-it is perfectly ok as the taste covers up for that)
Fry each puri in hot oil, turning once they puff up
Serve hot with pickles.
